Which Stories Will Become History?

The final assessment will be Wednesday, January 19th and counts as one summative assessment. You will be given the preparatory materials (electronically) the day before, via this website. You will receive paper copies when you come to class on the following day. It's highly recommended that you read and annotate the articles in advance and absorb the writing style of OpenStax. Journalism and history are not the same genre of writing. Requirements include the following:

  1. The essay must be composed and written only in class (you can use the entire block)
  2. No writing or outlining may be done before the class period.
  3. You must immediately share an editable Google doc with boloss@nths.net
  4. When you are finished with the essay, it must be submitted via Google form before the end of the period.
